Welcome to Angus Trotters
Angus Trotters was established in 1997 when we decided to take the plunge and set up our own farm butchery to butcher and sell our own cattle. Lawrence, the proprietor, a butcher by trade has over 30 year's experience.
We are so successful that we now buy from other local Cornish farms sharing the same ethos as ourselves, that good quality meat is raised in the traditional way with no additives to feed.
- All our meats are of the finest quality raised in Cornwall.
- The Aberdeen Angus we raise are of the traditional breed, single suckled on their mother and then grass fed.
- All our meat is hung well for a minimum of 14 days. It has a fine marbling texture of fat which gives the meat a succulent texture and flavour.
- At our farm shop our butchers use traditional skills to produce quality joints and product range.
- All our sausages, hogs pudding and burgers are additive free and hand made on the premises.
- Our bacon, gammons and hams are dry cured. They are naturally smoked (hickory or oak) in our smokehouse for a delicious flavour.
Our mail order service provides you with the opportunity to sample the best meat produced in Cornwall.
